To mark the start of the 2024 Olympics today, we held our very own Olympic themed coffee morning.
In addition to their tea and cake, clients were encouraged and supported to take part in some fun games, which included target throwing, beanbag tossing, hoopla and Connect 4!
A lot of fun was had and we were amazed to discover the hidden talents of so many! Everyone who took part went home with a medal and a few star performers went home with a prize.
Our coffee mornings offer our clients and the wider community the chance to meet others and spend time away from their home, reducing social isolation and boosting physical and mental wellbeing.
The Olympic games theme was a fun way to encourage gentle movement and exercise, which is also vital in maintaining and promoting physical and mental wellbeing.
