A massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Macmillan Coffee Morning yesterday at Evergreen Cafe – we raised an amazing £150!
As well as refreshments and delicious cake, we had a raffle with some wonderful prizes. We also had some fun games for everyone to get involved in – special congratulations to client LB for the closest guess of the amount of teacups in the picture and to B for correctly guessing the name of the Brighter Days Bear – Winston!
A big thank you to Tesco Amesbury’s Community Champion Laura Allies who donated some of our wonderful raffle prizes. Laura spent time talking to our clients and helped with the big raffle draw.
97% of the work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support is funded by donations, so the money raised today will make a huge difference. Many of our clients have been affected by cancer in some way and this event gave them the opportunity to get involved in some fundraising.
