What a great turnout we had for our November Coffee Morning!
Despite the chilly temperatures, we were joined by clients, carers and local residents for refreshments, cake and a quiz – and we are delighted to see more and more new faces every month.
Guests were put to the test with a November-themed quiz, which had some pretty tough questions. Who knew that the November birthstone is a Topaz or that James Bond’s birthday is 11th of November. We all left having learnt something new!
Amongst the team names we had The Old Codgers, The Farmers and Double Trouble, but it was The Poppy Team that came out on top and were crowned the winners, each taking home a home a tasty treat.
Our clients really look forward to our coffee mornings, which offer not only delicious refreshments, but also companionship, kindness and care. The activities also encourage mental and physical stimulation, which boost wellbeing.
